Just as ready-to-wear revolutionized fashion at the beginning of the twentieth century, introducing ready-to-wear garments that replaced tailor-made clothes, so my prêt à planter® compositions introduce a new way of conceiving plant design: compositions pre-grown by me, ready to be chosen and planted in gardens and terraces, bringing beauty and biodiversity to the gray of the city.
I design, grow and create different plant compositions: for sun, shade, dry and arid environments, humid environments, simple or elaborate compositions, with warm or cold colors.
Why choose Prêt à planter® compositions
My plants are pre-grown inside a needle felt “vase” of standard sizes, which can easily be placed in a planter thanks to handles. The fabric is biodegradable: once the composition is placed inside the planter, it will slowly become humus, enriching the soil.
The natural fiber fabric is draining and guarantees adequate ventilation to the roots, avoiding the formation of fungal diseases. It also preserves soil humidity without causing water stagnation, thus allowing you to reduce irrigation. Finally, it acts as a thermal insulator, protecting the roots from temperature changes.
Biodegradability, sustainability and biodiversity are the main features of my compositions, created with a process that is as plastic-free as possible. The only plastic I use in my nursery is recycled plastic: for me it is essential that it does not become waste but that it is reused as much as possible. This is why there is no plastic in the compositions that I sell to end customers, who would interrupt its life cycle.
Perennial compositions
Micro-ecosystems of perennial plants that alternate flowering in the four seasons, ideal for those who are already able to appreciate the beauty of herbaceous perennials or for those who want to experiment. These compositions have at least one plant in flower at any time of the year, allowing you to observe the changes in nature in all their beauty on your terrace, truly becoming aware of the changing seasons.
Seasonally rotating compositions
Compositions of perennial plants that present their period of greatest interest in the same season (spring, summer, autumn and winter compositions). By paying an annual fee, you will receive a new composition each season, returning the faded one which will be put back into cultivation to be resold the following year. These compositions are the perfect solution for rental.
Rental
Temporary greenery arrangements for hire for events, anniversaries, holidays and celebrations. The arrangements can be custom-designed, or you can choose from the seasonal compositions in the catalogue. Thanks to pre-cultivation, the setups will be ready to be installed in your location.
