OG Private – Terrace design project
This particular terrace is located on the 18th floor of a building with yellow grills. The design stays in harmony with this dominant color by choosing purple blooms as a contrasting color. For this project I have imagined neat shapes with an alternation of fuller evergreen shrubs and lighter grasses. A Plumbago climbs the balustrade creating a frame over Milan. Agapanthus blooms soar through the clouds.
MAIN INTERVENTIONS
carried out in the OG terrace
The project involved setting up the terrace with custom-made aluminum planters and handmade terracotta pots. The combination of the anthracite paint neutral colors and the dark earth makes the green stand out. The terrace is in continuous transformation, among the evergreen shrubs, the perennial herbaceous plants and the grasses color each season with different shades: the purple-blue summer blooms contrast with the yellow structure of the building, while the warm shades of the grasses in autumn make it an integral part of the compositions.
the final result
The terrace was transformed into a pleasant relaxing corner with Mediterranean atmospheres and colors in the heart of the city.
